Eagles' Nigel Bradham's Trial Date Set for Felony Battery Charge
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham has a trial date stemming from an alleged assault of a hotel employee set for July 3.
Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Bradham will be in attendance for the trial in which he faces a charge of felony battery.
The alleged incident occurred in July 2016 at a hotel in Miami, Florida, when Bradham was accused of striking a hotel employee in the nose that caused the employee to suffer "a broken nose, contusions to the face and a laceration on his lip," per the police report obtained by USA Today's Lorenzo Reyes.

Bradham told McLane he feels "pretty confident" the trial will go in his favor.
McLane also noted some close to Bradham dispute the account given by Jean Eliphete Courtois, the hotel employee accusing the Eagles linebacker of battery.
"An argument ensued and got heated, the sources said, and when Bradham's girlfriend was hit in the head—possibly by a punch thrown at Bradham by Courtois—the linebacker retaliated and struck Courtois three times," McLane wrote.
Bradham joined the Eagles in 2016 after spending the first four years of his career with the Buffalo Bills. He started all 16 games for Philadelphia, recording 98 tackles and two sacks.
