Mexico vs. USA: World Cup 2018 Qualifying Live Stream, Preview
Mexico and the U.S. will resume their rivalry in a crucial 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Sunday, as El Tri host the Stars and Stripes in Mexico City.
The hosts are still unbeaten in the Hexagonal and beat the U.S. 2-1 on the first matchday of the fifth round of CONCACAF qualifying. The Americans have bounced back from that false start, and Thursday's win over Trinidad and Tobago put the team in third place.
Here's everything you need to know about the clash.

The Stars and Stripes needed a big showing against Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday, and they got the win courtesy of a Christian Pulisic double. The Borussia Dortmund youngster has rapidly become the team's most pivotal player in attack, and the 18-year-old will be asked to perform yet again against El Tri.
ESPN FC's Paul Carr is a fan:
Beating up on the last-placed Soca Warriors is one thing, but Mexico are unbeaten in the Hex for a reason and are coming off a dominant showing against Honduras, winning 3-0 at the Estadio Azteca.

The next generation of El Tri greats is starting to make an impact, evidenced by Hirving Lozano's goal in that win over Honduras. Like Pulisic, the Pachuca winger is regarded as a future great, and he too could be plying his trade in Europe soon.
ESPN FC's Tom Marshall thought Mexico were impressive against Honduras, despite a slow start:
Manager Juan Carlos Osorio rested one or two key players in advance of the 2017 Confederations Cup, but he's unlikely to do so against their main rivals. The United States' recent record at the Azteca is dreadful, with just one win in 10 outings at the iconic venue.
Mexico's depth could be the key to victory―because to the Confederations Cup, this match was moved ahead, giving both sides just three days to rest.
Add to that the fact the match is being played at the Azteca, and that home sides have dominated this rivalry of late―although not the last time these teams met―and it's hard to pick against El Tri.
Prediction: Mexico 2-0 USA
