Calvin Pryor Reportedly Traded to Browns from Jets for Demario Davis
The New York Jets and Cleveland Browns reportedly agreed to a trade Thursday that will send safety Calvin Pryor to Cleveland in exchange for linebacker Demario Davis.
NFL Network's Mike Garafolo first reported the deal, and Brian Costello of the New York Post confirmed Pryor's departure.
The 24-year-old Pryor was selected with the No. 18 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft by the Jets out of Louisville.

Although he made 38 starts in three seasons with the Jets, they declined his fifth-year option for 2018, meaning he will be a free agent next offseason.
Pryor was made expendable by New York's decision to select LSU safety Jamal Adams and Florida safety Marcus Maye in the first and second rounds, respectively, of the 2017 NFL draft.
Davis spent last season with the Browns after originally being drafted by and playing four seasons with the Jets.
He started every game for the Jets from 2013 through 2015 at linebacker and registered two 100-tackle seasons.
Davis made 15 starts for Cleveland in 2016 and finished the campaign with 99 tackles.
Like Pryor, Davis is set to become a free agent in 2018.
Pryor has just two career interceptions, but he is a solid tackler who could fit in as a starter alongside rookie first-round pick Jabrill Peppers in Cleveland.
Davis figures to serve as a versatile chess piece in Jets head coach Todd Bowles' defense due to his ability to play both inside and outside linebacker.
