United's hopes of being in next season's Champions League rest primarily on success in the Europa League, as the winners of the competition enter the continent's showcase tournament next term.
However, the Red Devils struggled to put the game beyond Anderlecht's reach in the first leg, conceding a late goal to surrender a draw on their travels.
The Old Trafford giants enter Thursday's match after a morale-boosting victory against Chelsea in the Premier League at home, and the crowd at the Theatre of Dreams will have high expectations for a victory in Manchester.

United have had difficulties finding the back of the net at home this term, offering Anderlecht a slim chance of success if they can keep a clean sheet.
Ajax hold a two-goal lead over Schalke as they travel to Germany for the return encounter. Davy Klaassen's brace was enough to give the famous Dutch side a convincing advantage in the first leg.
Celta are 3-2 up over Genk in their fixture, and a draw in Belgium will be enough for the La Liga outfit.
Lyon will expect to join the rest in the last four of the competition after defeating Besiktas 2-1 in their first match.
The French side now travel to Turkey to face an intimidating environment in Istanbul.
