Chelsea Transfer News: Eden Hazard 'Dreams' Claim, Fresh Cesc Fabregas Rumours
Eden Hazard has put Chelsea fans on alert after admitting he still has "dreams" of representing other clubs amid talk of Real Madrid's interest in his services. Meanwhile, AC Milan have reportedly made contact in their bid to sign Cesc Fabregas.
Speaking to French television programme Telefoot (h/t the London Evening Standard's Alex Young), Hazard commented on recent speculation and gave a candid response when quizzed on his own desire to play elsewhere:
"When it's not PSG [Paris Saint-Germain], it's Real. Then perhaps it'll be Bayern [Munich]. Bizarrely, last year there was no one! There are always personal ambitions to play for other clubs, dreams. But I try to focus on the present.
As I said, I first have things to finish with Chelsea this year. Then, I'll go on holiday. We'll see after that. I have a contract until 2020. For the moment, I'm here, I'm good.

The Blues will at least be happy to hear their star winger is content at Stamford Bridge for the time being, but his comments won't reassure those hoping to have the maestro around west London for the long term.
Hazard mentioned Real himself as one of the clubs he's aware of who have been linked with his services, and Los Blancos striker Karim Benzema recently backed a move to sign Chelsea's talisman.
Appearing on Telefoot (h/t Goal's Sacha Pisani) recently, Benzema said: "[Hazard] is a very good player, what can I say? I have not seen the rumours, but it's obvious that he would be a good signing."
That being said, Blues supporters can only hope winning this year's Premier League title might convince Hazard to remain a while longer in England's capital. Kristof Terreur of Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws provided more recent quotes from the player, this time with a more positive spin on his current state:
Former Lille wonderkid Hazard has been in superb form for manager Antonio Conte this season and has helped the Blues make their rise back to the top of the Premier League table, scoring 14 goals and recording five assists.
What's more, WhoScored.com recently provided evidence to suggest the 26-year-old is finally challenging the world's elite as one of Europe's top performers on a more consistent basis:
Elsewhere, Italian website Calciomercato (h/t Joe Short of the Daily Express) reported Milan are already back in contact with Chelsea regarding a summer move for Fabregas after missing out on his signature in the winter.
The Rossoneri were recently taken over by a Chinese consortium that promises to give the club new ambition in the transfer market, although Di Marzio's David Amoyal isn't convinced they'll be able to pull off such a move just yet:
Short noted that Fabregas' £156,000-per-week wages could be a sticking point in any deal, with Serie A clubs largely not as readily equipped to challenge the salaries on offer in the Premier League.
That being said, Fabregas could be open to moving to Italy after starting just nine times in the league this season, and Milan could be an enticing project as they look to stage their Serie A revival.
