Antonio Conte Disappointed by Rumours He Will Leave Chelsea for Inter Milan
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has denied the "disappointing" rumour that he is set for a move to Inter Milan in the summer, per Sky Sport Italia (h/t Ben Gladwell for ESPN FC).
"Honestly it's disappointing when, in the end, you find yourself thrown on the front page with people talking about you," he said. "When I hear other people talking on my behalf, I don't like it."
Inter Milan are reportedly keen on bringing the 47-year-old back to Italy, per Mark Ogden for ESPN FC, who reported that Chelsea "risk losing Conte" because of his homesickness and the uncertain futures surrounding several key players.

Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa could all leave this summer, per Ogden, but the Italian's latest comments should soothe any concerns within the Chelsea camp that he will be joining this list.

"If somebody wants to know how things are, they just have to ask me. How are things?," he said, per Gladwell. "Well we're gritting our teeth because we want to finish off this season by doing something huge and unexpected and certainly we'll try to build something important—something important for next season."
Although this is not a firm denial that his future could lie in Italy, Conte's irritation suggests he does not have much time for the speculation.
Inter's interest is reportedly serious, per Ogden. Their 2-1 defeat at home to Sampdoria in Serie A on Monday leaves the club just one point above rivals AC Milan in sixth. A fifth-placed finish and qualification for the Europa League would be a good achievement for manager Stefano Pioli given the club's poor start to the season under Frank de Boer, but this does not make his job safe.

De Boer was ruthlessly sacked just 85 days into his role at the San Siro, suggesting the Inter board are not patient and have high expectations.
However, Conte's dismissive comments indicate he is only thinking about Chelsea, for the time being at least. With just eight games remaining in the Premier League, it is easy to see why the Italian quickly tried to refocus the interview on to the task ahead.
