Jurgen Klopp Talks Sadio Mane, Daniel Sturridge in Liverpool-Bournemouth Presser
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has said "it's possible" Sadio Mane could miss the rest of the season, while Daniel Sturridge is available to face Bournemouth on Wednesday.
Mane was forced off in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Everton on Saturday with a knee injury. Per the Liverpool Echo's James Pearce, Klopp is unsure of the severity and rued the winger's injury:

He also provided updates on the Reds' other fitness concerns, including Daniel Sturridge, per Goal's Melissa Reddy:
With Mane out, Klopp could opt to field Daniel Sturridge in Liverpool's front three alongside Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
Divock Origi is another alternative, particularly after he scored against the Toffees as a substitute.
Per the Mirror's Liam Prenderville, Klopp said:
"It makes sense to have a positive mood around the club. A few key players aren’t available but we still have 11 players to start.
Our job is to find solutions and I work on solutions all the time.
It’s good to have Divock. The season is long. He’s a very important option for us now.
"
The loss of Mane's pace and attacking threat is a blow for the Reds, but Origi or Sturridge could mitigate his absence if they can put in a strong performance against Bournemouth.
Liverpool have struggled against teams outside of the Premier League's top six this season, but Klopp does not want his players to focus on that against the Cherries:
The Reds lost to Bournemouth earlier in the season, and Klopp is anticipating another tough contest, though he is hoping his side have taken lessons from last time they met:
Eddie Howe's side have picked up in the last month and have two wins and two draws from their last four matches.
Klopp also looked beyond the season to next year and vowed to add to the squad in order to cope with European football.
Per Prenderville, he said: "Next year with more games we need more options, that's clear. We will show that we learned from this year. Of course we will bring in players. The squad will change in a few positions."
He added: "We will still have young players in the squad. The problems we had in January and February, the injury of Phil in November.
"Sadio in January, Danny Ings, [Sturridge], should we have another striker or winger? Yes."
The Reds are third in the table and only three points off Tottenham Hotspur in second, but they also have Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal behind them, all of whom have one or two games in hand.
While a top-four finish would signal a positive season on Merseyside, it's clear they need to improve in order to provide a serious title challenge next year and be a force in Europe.
