Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 49ers currently have Carlos Hyde, Mike Davis and DuJuan Harris as running backs on their roster. Hyde has been the team's starter for the past two seasons, but injuries have limited him to 20 of a possible 32 games during that stretch.
The 30-year-old Hightower spent the past two seasons with the New Orleans Saints after being out of the NFL from 2012-14. His 133 carries and 548 rushing yards in 2016 were his most in a season since 2010.
Hightower previously played under 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan in 2011 when Shanahan was the Washington Redskins' offensive coordinator.
