Arsene Wenger Says He Has Decided on His Future After Loss vs. West Brom

Rob BlanchetteMar 18, 2017

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed he has decided his future after watching the Gunners collapse 3-1 at West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.

BBC broadcaster John Murray noted the veteran coach will "soon" disclose whether he will stay in north London or depart his role.

The iconic manager has been under fire this term, as Arsenal have struggled for consistency. He is out of contract at the end of the campaign and now knows whether he is willing to rebuild his squad after a disappointing run.

Journalist and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan said he will support Wenger's decision if he elects to leave at the end of the campaign:

The Gunners capitulated against West Brom at the Hawthorns, with defensive mistakes contributing to all three Baggies goals.

The visitors were lifeless, and superstar Alexis Sanchez departed with injury in the second half to rub salt into the wounds.

Wenger's time at Arsenal appears to be rolling to a conclusion. He has been unable to buy the right players to fulfil his coaching philosophy in recent years.

Arsenal need fresh enthusiasm and ideas, and a change of manager will aid their recovery next term.
