Kayvon Webster, LA Rams Agree to 2-Year Contract
The Los Angeles Rams bolstered their secondary Monday by signing cornerback Kayvon Webster, announced the team.

Webster reacted to the move on his Twitter page:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He joins a Rams defense that was a mere 23rd in the league in points allowed per game on the way to a 4-12 record in 2016. From a statistical standpoint, this isn't a franchise-changing signing considering Webster notched just eight combined tackles last season and has one interception in his career.
However, Cameron Wolfe of the Denver Post called him a special teams star and said "he should get a chance for bigger role on defense in L.A."
He will be playing for a familiar face seeing how Los Angeles defensive coordinator Wade Phillips served in the same role for the Broncos the last two seasons. That appeared to be a deciding factor in this move, as Webster indicated on Twitter:
The Broncos defense was a driving force of Denver's success under Phillips, but he is facing something of a rebuilding process ahead in Los Angeles. Webster gives him another weapon to deploy who is just 26 years old and theoretically in the middle of his prime.
