Daniel Bryan Hints at Possible Return During WWE SmackDown's 'Talking Smack'
While former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan announced his retirement from in-ring competition last year, he teased a potential return to competition Tuesday night on Talking Smack.
The Miz taunted Bryan by telling him that he could no longer wrestle due to injury, but the leader of the Yes Movement responded defiantly, according to Marc Middleton of PWMania.com: "I can't or they won't let me? We'll see in a year and a half, we'll see what happens."
While specifics regarding Bryan's contract are unclear, his comments suggest he may have an eye toward returning to wrestling when his deal with WWE expires.

Following his retirement, Bryan revealed on ESPN's SportsCenter (h/t Middleton, writing for WrestlingInc.com) that he suffered at least 10 concussions during his career and experienced seizures related to concussions.
Bryan took a hiatus after retiring but returned in an on-screen role during the summer as the general manager of SmackDown Live.
Despite his retirement, the 35-year-old receives consistently huge reactions from the crowd whenever he shows up on WWE programming.
Bryan is a former four-time WWE world champion, as well as a former United States, Intercontinental and Tag Team titleholder.
His crowning moment came at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans when he defeated Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista in the same night to become WWE World Heavyweight champion.
Should Bryan receive medical clearance to wrestle at the completion of his WWE contract, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling stand out as potential destinations due to his previous experience in those promotions.
