Broncos Reportedly Interested in Re-Signing DeMarcus Ware
Linebacker DeMarcus Ware is an unrestricted free agent this year, but the Denver Broncos are reportedly interested in bringing him back.
On Tuesday, Jane Slater of NFL Network reported Ware met with Broncos general manager John Elway and head coach Vance Joseph. Slater said Denver has "expressed interest in bringing him back subject to negotiations."
All it takes is a quick glance at Ware's resume to understand why the Broncos would want to bring him back.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 2005 first-round pick is a nine-time Pro Bowler and four-time member of the All-Pro First Team and was an integral part of the Broncos defense that won a Super Bowl ring in the 2015 season.
He boasts 138.5 sacks in his career and eight different campaigns of double-digit sack totals as one of the league's best pass-rushers in recent history. That track record could attract interest from more than just the Broncos, as Slater discussed:
As for Denver, there is still that "subject to negotiations" qualifier since Ware will be 35 years old during the 2017 season and played a career-low 10 games in 2016 because of a fractured forearm and back injury after playing just 11 games in 2015.
His 15 tackles and four sacks last year each represented career lows as well.
Ware would provide veteran leadership for a loaded pass-rushing unit that features Von Miller, Derek Wolfe, Shane Ray and others, but he will likely come at a cheaper price for Denver after he played as a cap hit of more than $8 million in each of the last three seasons, per Spotrac.
