Six Nations 2017: Updated Table, Results and Round 4 Fixtures
England reclaimed the throne in the 2017 Six Nations and returned to the top of the table after defeating Italy 36-15 in their Week 3 showdown on Sunday.
The Twickenham hosts thundered back from a 10-5 half-time deficit as tries from Dan Cole, Danny Care, Elliot Daly, Ben Te'o and Jack Nowell (two) helped see off Italy's revolt. Michele Campagnaro and Giovanbattista Venditti went over the whitewash for the Azzurri.
The Red Rose's hopes of a successful Grand Slam title defence are alive and kicking, but second-placed Ireland remain close on their heels after beating France 19-9 in Dublin on Saturday.

Recap
What promised to be a routine Week 3 outing for England was turned into something far more tense on Sunday as Italy gave the Red Rose a run for their money en route to a courageous comeback win for the hosts.
England were frustrated for more than 20 minutes before tighthead prop Cole was permitted to barge over for the game's opening try off the back of a rolling maul, although Owen Farrell missed his conversion attempt:
The Red Rose failed to build from there, though, and Italian fly-half Tommaso Allan replied with a drop goal on 33 minutes before the Italian revolution really kicked into gear with the score finely poised at 5-3.
Italy took a shock lead on the stroke of half-time, when a penalty attempt from Allan pinged off the post and into the mitts of Venditti, who finished off the chance before his fly-half added the conversion for a 10-5 lead at the break:
Sadly for the visitors, their rebellion was set back several paces when England scored two tries in the opening seven minutes of the second period, with Daly following Care over the line in quick succession to turn the game upside down.
Scrum-half Care's quick thinking near the line saw him run in under minimal pressure, whereas it was James Haskell's lunging run into the Italian 22 that set up Wasps winger Daly to score and help restore a 17-10 lead for the hosts:
Complacency appeared to set in once again for England, though, when Campagnaro was permitted to rumble his way to the try line from 30 yards and reduce his side's deficit back down to just two points at 17-15, via ITV Rugby:
If England were bubbling until this point, however, they began to boil when Nowell went over for his first try, thanks to a numbers advantage opening up on the left side of the field.
Te'o sailed over for a score on his first England start not long after to settle the result, and Nowell put the result beyond any doubt when he scrambled free of his markers to dot down under the posts.
