Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho: WWE Roadblock 2016 Match Preview and Prediction
At WWE Roadblock: End of the Line, it will be the end of the line for several of Raw's most ruthless rivalries, including Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho. The two longtime foes will face off one final time and attempt to settle their score once and for all as the road to WrestleMania 33 looms large.
Two weeks before it was confirmed for the card, Rollins vs. Jericho appeared to be a lock for Roadblock after Jericho cost The Architect the WWE Universal Championship in the main event of Raw one night removed from Survivor Series.
However, their storied feud dates back much further than just recently. Jericho has been a thorn in the side of Rollins for well over three months—ever since Rollins began chasing Kevin Owens for the prestigious prize.

In each of Rollins' in-ring encounters with Owens, Jericho always played a factor in the finish. His interference distracted Rollins long enough to allow Owens to capitalize at Clash of Champions, and he again made his presence felt at Hell in a Cell and aided Owens to victory.
Jericho's involvement in Rollins' championship clash on the Nov. 21 edition of Raw was the last straw, leading to Rollins hitting him with a Pedigree on top of a car the following week. Owens later went to Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon to make their match official for Roadblock this Sunday.

Rollins explained that his main motivation at the moment is luring Triple H back to WWE, with his sights still set on seeking vengeance for The Game's betrayal of him in late August.
However, in order to do that, he must first take the title from Owens. Although he has tried to do so on multiple occasions, Jericho has been there to cost Rollins the prestigious prize every time.
Thus, Rollins' first step in getting his desired match with Triple H is eliminating the threat of Jericho. It also appears he won't have to worry about the possibility of Owens interfering, given their rocky relationship.
If you recall, Rollins has been on a lengthy losing streak since returning from injury earlier this year. With Money in the Bank being the last major stage at which he emerged victorious, this will be his ultimate opportunity to get back to his winning ways.
That said, Rollins coming out on top at Roadblock is virtually guaranteed and is what should happen. Jericho can bounce back from a loss and contend for the title against Owens at the Royal Rumble either way.
As for Rollins, he has yet to evolve into the heroic babyface he has the potential to be. Other than Triple H turning on him, he hasn't had that one defining moment as a babyface, which might be why his run as protagonist so far has been slightly underwhelming.
In order for Triple H vs. Rollins to be a major attraction in time for WrestleMania 33, the former Shield member must start to show signs of character development and cement his status as the premier babyface in WWE.
While Rollins vs. Jericho is a match we have already seen a handful of times before, they have excellent in-ring chemistry and work well together. Moreover, it's apparent the better part of the Roadblock card consists of placeholder programs, so this will be a fine way for Rollins to begin building momentum.
Aside from the 30-minute Iron Man main event between Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair, nothing else about Roadblock feels must-see. Owens vs. Roman Reigns should be solid, but Rollins vs. Jericho could be the bout that steals the show on the undercard.
With Jericho having rejuvenated his career throughout 2016 and contesting a stellar string of matches with a variety of opponents, fans can expect him and Rollins to exceed all expectations with their outing at the pending pay-per-view.
