New Day vs. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns vs. JeriKO: Winner and Reaction
The New Day were victorious for the second time Monday, prevailing in a Triple Threat match that included the teams of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns and Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens.
Rollins delivered a Pedigree to Jericho. Before he could make the pin, though, Big E yanked him out of the ring. That allowed Xavier Woods to put an arm on Jericho for the pinfall. The result ensures The New Day will beat Demolition's record for the longest WWE tag team championship reign ever in WWE.

Kofi Kingston seemingly secured history when he pinned Sheamus in a tag team Triple Threat match to kick off Raw. Kingston and Woods drew the ire of Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon, though, during their post-match party.
In retaliation, McMahon pitted The New Day against Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. Raw general manager Mick Foley later added Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to the match.
Former WWE announcer Jim Ross and SiriusXM Radio's Sam Roberts knew history wouldn't come easy for The New Day:
Big E, Kingston and Woods have crossed numerous hurdles on their road to overtaking Demolition, and Monday was no different. Now, nothing stands in their way to besting the old mark.
Although the champions are technically tied with Demolition at 478 days, it's only a matter of time before they own the record with no title defenses scheduled for the immediate future.
As good as The New Day have been on their own, their pursuit of Demolition has been an albatross around the entire tag division, much in the same way Nikki Bella's pursuit of AJ Lee's Divas Championship reign came at the detriment of WWE's women's division in 2014.
The New Day could only beat Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson so many times before it became repetitive. Cesaro and Sheamus added freshness to the division after Clash of Champions in September, but their series of matches with The New Day in the ensuing weeks slowly eroded the novelty of their feud.
As Uproxx's Brandon Stroud tweeted, the tag team division can hit the reset button now that The New Day overtaking Demolition is an inevitability:
It will be interesting to see who ultimately topples The New Day. Having Gallows and Anderson or Cesaro and Sheamus win the tag titles would feel anticlimactic since both teams have failed to do so on multiple occasions.
The Revival could get the call-up to Raw after losing the NXT tag titles at NXT TakeOver: Toronto. Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson will have another chance to win their belts back. A promotion to WWE's flagship show would be a natural progression in their careers if they're unable to beat Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in the return bout.
While The New Day can rest easy knowing their place in the WWE record book is safe, the bull's-eye on their back isn't going away as teams line up to take the Raw tag team championships.
