Barcelona Transfer News: Latest on Neymar and Rumours on Antoine Griezmann
Paris Saint-Germain will not look to take advantage of Neymar's current legal issues in an attempt to lure him away from Barcelona, according to the Ligue 1 champions' director of football, Patrick Kluivert.
The Brazilian star remains embroiled in a case surrounding irregularities in his transfer from Santos to Barca in 2013, with prosecutors calling for him to be handed a two-year prison sentence earlier this week, per Sky Sports' Allan Valente.
PSG have long been linked with Neymar and were previously reported to be plotting a £200 million move for him next summer, per George Boulton of the Sun.

However, Kluivert has now cooled talk about a potential move for the 24-year-old forward and said that PSG will not seek to use Neymar's potentially unsettling legal situation to their advantage, per JDD (via FourFourTwo):
"It is always good to have a star in your team, but the team remains the most important. If the team is not alright, the star cannot shine.
So I would not say no if there is a chance to sign a star, but I will not force it at all costs. Also because there are just a few superstars out there.
Could Neymar's legal issues be an advantage to us? To be honest, what is happening to him is a real shame. We are not going to try to take advantage of this case.
"
Neymar only recently penned a new contract with Barcelona that ties him to the Catalan club until 2021.
Given Neymar's immense success with Barca since he moved to the club, there are very few footballing reasons why he may want to depart.
However, the legal case surrounding him in Spain is sure to be an inconvenience for him.
Should he want to leave, PSG are one of very few clubs in the world who could afford to pay the huge transfer fee Barcelona would request for Neymar.
However, given Kluivert's comments, the French side are not preparing to make a move for the Brazil international.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann has hinted that he could be open to a move away from the Vicente Calderon, potentially opening the door for Barca to snap him up.
The French forward insisted he could never move to Real Madrid, but said were he to leave Atleti, he would like to either stay in La Liga or move to the Premier League, per Telefoot (h/t the Sun's Andrew Richardson): "I like PSG, but not Ligue 1. I would prefer La Liga or the Premier League—without any real objective of leaving. But there will be no transfer between Real and Atletico. There is a pact."
Having ruled out a switch to Real, Barcelona would be the only realistic destination for Griezmann, 25, were he to leave Atleti but stay in La Liga.
He would be a worthy addition to an already superlative Barca attack, as he is one of the most effective forwards in the world, per WhoScored.com:
However, Atleti would be loath to sell their star player to a direct league rival, and Griezmann may not be keen on the idea of having to battle Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez for a starting spot.
As noted by Richardson, Manchester United would be the likely favourites to sign Griezmann should he leave Atleti, but Barca will surely continue to track his movements.
