PSG Transfer News: Dimitri Payet Comments on West Ham Future, Latest Rumours
Dimitri Payet has refused to rule out a January exit from West Ham United amid rumours Paris Saint-Germain are interested in him.
According to the Mirror's Darren Lewis and Neil McLeman, he told French television:
"Leave in January? I’m asking other questions right now, but I haven’t closed the door to anything.
Until now, I always chose my clubs depending on the sports project. I work like that. Until I can play at a level like this, it will be the case.
Go to Paris Saint-Germain or [return to] Marseille? For now, they have not come to me, so I do not ask myself.

As a result of his comments, the Hammers are said to be "worried about losing their prize asset" and manager Slaven Bilic "will sit down with him to underline how much he is loved and valued at the club."
Payet has caught the attention of Europe's elite since joining West Ham last year and was rewarded with a new contract in January.

Despite the new deal, he was linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea in the summer, per the Mirror's Adrian Kajumba, while France Football (h/t Tom Maston of Goal) added Manchester United to his list of potential suitors.
The Frenchman has accrued five assists and a goal in the Premier League this season, but the Irons have nevertheless endured a poor start and find themselves in 17th place with just 11 points.
PSG have not been as dominant as usual in Ligue 1 thus far and could do with adding further quality after Zlatan Ibrahimovic's departure.
The Times' Henry Winter is among the admirers Payet has attracted with his outstanding performances in the Premier League:
The Frenchman is among the league's most creative playmakers, as Squawka Football revealed:
Coupled with his set-piece threat and reasonable goal output—he bagged 12 in all competitions for West Ham last year—he could make for a strong addition to PSG.
Should the Irons' struggle continue, he may find himself more tempted to leave come January or next summer.
Meanwhile, PSG also reportedly want to sign Manchester City star Sergio Aguero, according to Neil Fissler of the Express.

The Ligue 1 side want the Argentinian to replace Ibrahimovic and "have instructed an intermediary to start the ball rolling on a deal as they look to get in ahead of Real Madrid."
Aguero's future has been the subject of speculation after being dropped to the bench for games against Everton and Barcelona in October, but he has since been restored to the starting lineup and netted three times in his last three games.
His strike against Middlesbrough on Saturday was an impressive landmark, per OptaJoe:
The goal was his 14th of the season, and he'd be an outstanding replacement for Ibrahimovic—with his pace, instinctive movement and clinical finishing, he'd undoubtedly be even more prolific in Ligue 1.
While City boss Pep Guardiola isn't afraid to part with star players—Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o and Bastian Schweinsteiger can attest to that, among others—it's arguable too much has been made of Guardiola's decision to drop the 28-year-old.
Aguero is a key player for the Sky Blues, so his departure would still seem unlikely.
