Travis Kelce Ejected After Throwing Towel at Ref During Jaguars vs. Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce lost his composure with an official, and it led to an early exit from Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The incident started when Kelce was unable to haul in a target in the end zone. The tight end believed he was interfered with by the defender and immediately sought out the official to complain.
Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus described the resulting situation on the field:

"I can't throw my flag on the ref, but he can throw his all day long," Kelce told reporters after the game.
Kelce had five catches for 58 yards before being disqualified from the game.
The 27-year-old has become one of the most dynamic tight ends in the NFL in recent seasons. He finished with over 800 receiving yards and five touchdowns in each of the last two years. He remains right on that pace this year with 435 yards at the halfway mark with three touchdowns on 39 receptions.
However, incidents like this could be a problem if they continue.
Kelce was fined $11,025 in 2014 for an inappropriate gesture toward an official. He also came into the league with character concerns, partly stemming from a failed drug test in 2010 that caused him to be suspended for an entire collegiate season.
Although Kelce had only a single unsportsmanlike penalty in his career coming into the week, per Pro-Football-Reference.com, this is not something the Chiefs will want to see replicated in the future.
