Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, QPR Part Ways: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction
Queens Park Rangers announced on Saturday that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will not continue as the team's manager.
The club made the announcement following the 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest:
"QPR have parted company with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The Dutchman leaves Loftus Road following today's 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest in the Sky Bet Championship.
Hasselbaink joined QPR in December 2015 and oversaw 47 matches in charge, winning 14, drawing 18 and losing 15.
The club appreciates Jimmy's efforts during his time in charge and wishes him all the best for the future.

QPR currently sit a disappointing 17th in the Championship standings. The club was relegated from the Premier League following the 2014-15 campaign.
The club sacked Harry Redknapp during the 2014-15 campaign but couldn't avoid relegation under Chris Ramsey, with QPR finishing in last place. Instead of a quick return to the Premier League, Rangers made a dreadful start to the following season, and Neil Warnock took charge of the team for a brief spell before Hasselbaink was appointed.
His spell lasted less than a year, however, and QPR will enter the international break without a manager once again. Per Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports, Saturday's clash with Forest was an ultimate test for the Dutchman:
The 2016-17 campaign already seems like a lost one for QPR, who can only dream of a play-off spot and will instead focus on avoiding the drop and forging some sort of identity under yet another new boss.
According to the Sun's Wally Downes Jr, former Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood is the early favourite to replace Hasselbaink.
