The White team defeated the Blue team 52-37 in Duke's annual Cameron Craziness on Saturday, a preseason intrasquad showcase that allowed Blue Devils fans to get an up-close look at their 2016-17 roster.
In just a 20-minute exhibition, freshman Jayson Tatum of Team White led all scorers with 18 points, while Luke Kennard added 11.

Guard Grayson Allen, who is expected to be a candidate for the National Player of the Year award in 2016-17, put up 10 points and four assists for Team Blue.
But as a player whose motor constantly runs, Allen ran into some trouble when he dove into Amile Jefferson's leg and initially looked like he injured his teammate. Jefferson, though, was able to walk off.
Head coach Mike Krzyzewski, though, wasn't concerned about the play, via Stephen Schramm of the Fayetteville Observer:
With No. 2 class of 2016 recruit Harry Giles sidelined with a knee injury, a lot of the freshman focus was directed toward forward Jayson Tatum, whom Scout ranked as the No. 4 prospect in the nation.
After the departure of Brandon Ingram to the NBA draft, Tatum is a player who could be seen as a possible replacement.
With his 18 points along with four rebounds and two assists, he had made people sit up and take notice, like Austin Usery of The Usery:
Duke Nation was also impressed by the freshman:
Frank Jackson of Team Blue, who was ranked the No. 18 prospect in the nation by Scout, also added some freshman flair on the night, with 12 points.
It created high hopes for Barstool Duke:
Jon Pence of SCACCHoops.com also realized that Duke has a solid foundation of freshmen:
Duke will look to continue its standard of excellence, although last season didn't end as well as it hoped. In each of the past 19 years, the Blue Devils have been ranked in the Top Five at least once.
But they sank to 19th in the country at season's end but still made the Sweet 16 before falling to Oregon.
With a Player of the Year candidate in Allen, along with a strong, talented freshman influence, Duke will likely be a national powerhouse once again this season.
