Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez
Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his wish to stay at Real Madrid for years to come.
According to Bruce Archer of the Express, he told Spanish outlet Marca: "My dream is to close my eyes and play at Real Madrid, it is what I want the most, I want to be here for many years. It’s the club that I have in my heart."
Archer reported the forward has long been linked with a return to former club Manchester United, while Ligue 1 champions "Paris Saint-Germain are interested in his services."

The 31-year-old has established himself as one of the best players in world football during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu and will go down as one of the greatest goalscorers the game has ever seen.
WhoScored.com and Squawka Football revealed the extent of some of his feats:
He finished last season with an incredible tally of 51 goals and 15 assists in 48 games, and he remains an invaluable player in Real's side.
Even Barcelona star Gerard Pique—who is hardly known for complimenting Los Blancos or their players—has respect for his abilities:
Real would almost certainly have wanted to keep Ronaldo anyway, but the club's transfer ban next year virtually guarantees as much—despite their wealth of talent, they could not afford to sell him without being able to replace him immediately with a prolific new forward.
It looks as though Ronaldo will get his wish.
James Rodriguez may not be set to stay put for the long term, however.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t AS), Inter Milan's new Chinese owners Suning Holdings Group have lofty ambitions of making Rodriguez one of its marquee signings next summer as the group looks to spend big in the transfer market in a bid to restore Inter to their former glory.
The playmaker has struggled to establish himself in the side of late, and he "may have fallen out with the club for the final time" after meeting up with Colombia in the international break despite not being fit to play, according to the Mirror's Ed Malyon.
Indeed, while the 25-year-old returned to Real after discovering he would not be able to feature for his country, "the damage was done and a new varnish of resentment was applied to a not-so-pretty picture."
Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane was quick to play down the talk, though, per ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan:
Corrigan and Malyon discussed whether he'd be worth signing for another club:
"@eaamalyon cheers Ed - he's still got it I reckons...
— Dermot Corrigan (@dermotmcorrigan) October 14, 2016"
Indeed, the midfielder is supremely creative and a significant goal threat in his own right—while he hasn't always been at his best in Madrid, it's clear he has quality in abundance.
Inter have fallen away from Europe's elite in recent years, but they could become a force again if they can land players of Rodriguez's talent.
He'll undoubtedly have plenty of suitors interested in him if he does leave next summer, though, so Inter aren't the only club likely to be in pursuit.
