Isame Faciane Arrested: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction
Isame Faciane, who was an offensive lineman on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad at the time, was arrested on Oct. 12 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, on suspicion of drunken driving.
According to Matt Vensel of the Star Tribune, police said he is facing a fourth-degree drunken driving charge and a misdemeanor charge for driving without a license after being pulled over for driving the wrong way on the highway.
The Vikings released Faciane on Tuesday, per Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Per Vensel, the Vikings released the following statement at the time of Faciane's arrest: "We are aware of the situation and will have further comment at the appropriate time."
The Vikes signed Faciane as an undrafted free agent out of Florida International in 2014, and although he didn't make the team's 53-man roster, he was assigned to the practice squad.
The 25-year-old was part of Minnesota's practice squad in each of the past three seasons, and last year, he transitioned from defensive tackle to offensive guard.
While Faciane's departure won't impact the 5-0 Vikings much from an on-field perspective, offensive line depth is becoming an issue, as the team placed both Matt Kalil and Andre Smith on injured reserve.
