WWE NXT Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from October 12
Shinsuke Nakamura made his triumphant return from injury Wednesday night, brawling around the NXT Arena with Samoa Joe and leaving him lying following a brutal Kinshasa.
This was a King of Strong Style fans had never seen before, a vengeful competitor unleashing a furious rage on the man who attempted to end his career just weeks earlier.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
There were no mind games. There was no grand entrance.
In their places was a focused and determined man looking to pay his rival back, punishing him in the harshest way possible.
The attack served as a fantastic bit of booking that did more to create interest in a rematch between the competitors in Toronto than anything else to this point. What would have been a lazily booked second showdown between the two now has added meaning and emotion, hopefully leading to the classic fans in Brooklyn were robbed of seeing.
Winner: Sanity
The debut of Sanity may not have been met with the rabid response management was hoping for, but the revelation of Eric Young being the leader drew a big pop. Furthermore, the team's dominant victory over Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode (who never entered the ring) was a sign that those in power have big things planned for the new faction.
Completely different than any other act on the NXT roster, the group is one that has an air of mystery surrounding it. No one knows Sanity's story or why it has suddenly come together to terrorize the NXT roster.
That lends itself to intrigue and creative freedom to which most acts are not privy.
Loser: Tino Sabbatelli
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneer looked every bit the inexperienced professional wrestler that he actually is when he teamed with Riddick Moss for Wednesday's loss to TM-61.
His offense was basic, and he looked nowhere near as fluid as his peers, though that is to be expected. The bigger question is why he was put in that position to begin with. He was exposed and looked worse than everyone else around him.
Sabbatelli looks like a star. He is chiseled, has movie-star looks and has the athleticism necessary to succeed. But he is not a seasoned professional wrestler yet, a fact that will become more apparent with every moment he spends on television.
Winner: Bobby Roode
The Glorious One abandoned partner Tye Dillinger in the face of the threat that was Sanity, further establishing himself as the sneakiest and most underhanded, cowardly villain on the NXT roster.
Painting himself as God's gift to wrestling, he tucked tail and ran when anything even remotely close to a threat to his winning streak presented itself. In doing so, WWE provided the character with depth and development rather than allow the performer to get over on his prior reputation, a pitfall currently facing Austin Aries.
It is that type of writing that will make Roode much more interesting in the long run and, more importantly, establish a connection with audiences.
