Arsenal Transfer News: Moussa Dembele Scouted by PSG, Latest Gunners Rumours
Arsenal could reportedly face major competition to sign Celtic star Moussa Dembele after it was revealed that French giants Paris Saint-Germain recently scouted the forward.
According to Scott Burns in the Express, the Ligue 1 champions sent representatives to cast their eye over Dembele, 20, as he netted for France's under-21 side in their Tuesday 3-0 win over Northern Ireland.
Burns added that PSG are keen to add more French players to their squad, while Arsenal are not the only Premier League club to have been linked with Dembele—Crystal Palace, Southampton and Hull City are all also interested.

Dembele played for many years in PSG's youth system before switching to the Fulham academy in 2012 and becoming a key part of their senior team.
He was snapped up by Celtic in the summer and has netted five Scottish Premiership goals already in seven appearances this season, and he also bagged an impressive double in the Bhoys' 3-3 UEFA Champions League draw with Manchester City, per BT Sport Football:
Following his performance against the Sky Blues, reports inevitably emerged linking Dembele with interest from Arsenal, along with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, but Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers moved quickly to shut the talk down, per Sam Morgan in the Sun:
"We’re fortunate to have him. He was coveted by a number of teams but his agent is a clever guy.
Does he go to a so-called better league and sit on the bench and not get so many games?
Or does he come to a big club with an opportunity to develop and invest some time into his development, and then step up if that's what he wants to do?
"
However, Rodgers could become powerless in the face of Europe's giants if Dembele continues to put in such impressive performances, especially in the Champions League.
The youngster penned a four-year deal to 2020 when he signed with Celtic in the summer, but a big offer from the likes of PSG, Arsenal, Real or Bayern could surely tempt both Dembele and the Hoops.
While Celtic are a historic club and continue to dominate Scottish football—and can also offer Dembele first-team football—they cannot guarantee the Frenchman the same title potential as Europe's biggest clubs.
Neither, arguably, can Arsenal, who have not won the Premier League in more than a decade and have failed to get further than the last 16 in the Champions League in any of the past six seasons.
If PSG are indeed also interested, Arsenal could face a challenge in their attempts to sign Dembele, and they will likely have to give him assurances of game time and their lofty aspirations if they are to snap him up.
