WWE Raw: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for October 10
Challengers are sure to grow ferocious in their pursuit of championships on WWE Raw as the red brand prepares for a pay-per-view built around brutality.
Ahead of Hell in a Cell on Oct. 30, Seth Rollins will look to take down universal champion Kevin Owens, even if his injured ribs will leave him vulnerable. Rusev will be seething as he watches Roman Reigns walk around with the United States Championship, a title he proudly carried around for months.
And after Charlotte once again lost the Raw Women's Championship to Sasha Banks, she will undoubtedly be cooking up a scheme to seize that gold back. As announced during Sunday's No Mercy event, The Boss is set to face Charlotte once more:

Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors 👊

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Monday's Raw will continue the stories of these rivalries, looking to hype the collisions set for Hell in a Cell.
Will the show also introduce a new cruiserweight? Which of these matches will feature The Devil's Playground? What does the monstrous Braun Strowman have in store for the fans in the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California?
Backstage reports, the Raw preview on WWE.com and a look at current feuds help answer those questions before Monday's Raw kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.
News, Potential Spoilers
The cruiserweight division may soon get another skilled grappler. Dave Meltzer wrote for Figure Four Online, "Noam Dar starts full time this week with WWE and is at least scheduled to be backstage at Raw."
Dar competed at the Cruiserweight Classic where he advanced to the quarterfinals.
There had been plenty of speculation that Luke Harper would be a part of Raw after recovering from his ACL injury, but that's clearly not happening. The Wyatt Family member appeared at No Mercy to aid Wyatt.
WWE announced during the post-PPV Talking Smack that the blue brand had signed Harper.
Fans likely won't be seeing Big Show on Raw any time soon, either. The former world champ noted in an interview with Ben Wilson of Games Radar that WWE is focusing on pushing younger guys and the company doesn't need him right now.
Big Show added, "I have a big WrestleMania spot with Shaq coming up, so I'm sure in January we'll kick that off and I'll be back on TV more."
Monday's Raw, though, should feature plenty of Charlotte's chase to reclaim her title from Banks. Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Bill Hanstock of UPROXX) WWE plans to have Banks and Charlotte collide inside the Hell in a Cell structure at the PPV.
If that's the case, the women's title picture will be a prominent part of the show in the coming weeks. And things will surely get vicious between champion and challenger along the way.
Raw Streaks
It's hard to tell where Sami Zayn sits on the Raw hierarchy. He has experienced an up-and-down stretch, sometimes being a priority on the show, sometimes being a forgotten man.
On last week's Raw, he knocked off Titus O'Neil. That marked two wins on Raw in a row for the former NXT champion, per CageMatch.net.
Whether that is the beginning of a push or just 50-50 booking at play is hard to tell. Zayn has gone 4-4 on the show since July's draft. That's not exactly how one boosts a wrestler's profile.
Curtis Axel would kill to have Zayn's problem. He can't even get on TV.
As seen on CageMatch.net, Axel hasn't competed on Raw since July 25. He has now missed 10 editions of Raw in a row.
It's not an issue of health, either. He has been wrestling on Superstars and at house shows. WWE simply hasn't found a place for him on its marquee program.
Hell in a Cell Build Continues
Banks outlasted Charlotte last week in Raw's main event, claiming the second women's championship of her career.
The Queen certainly won't just accept defeat. Her response to dropping the title to her archrival promises to be intense.
The WWE.com Raw preview stated Charlotte "is no doubt devising a strategy to reclaim its richest prize. Perhaps we'll learn of Charlotte's next move this coming Monday night."
Rusev likely has something devious in mind, too. Reigns dethroned him at Clash of Champions and later beat him again in a rematch on Raw. The Bulgarian Brute, though, has one more shot at besting Reigns.
Reigns challenged Rusev last week to a Hell in a Cell match at the PPV of same name.
Monday's Raw will showcase their bad blood en route to that contest. More brawling between the powerhouses is a safe bet.
Strowman is waiting to dish out physicality, as well, but he doesn't have a rival on his level yet. The big man has been clobbering enhancement talent for weeks but decided last Monday he was sick of squashing lesser foes.
He demanded more competition and threatened general manager Mick Foley in the process.
The Raw preview asked, "Who will The Hardcore Legend choose to battle this unstoppable behemoth?" Strowman has already twice defeated Sin Cara. R-Truth or Goldust would be a step up from local jobbers, but will that be enough to satisfy Strowman?
With the latest turn in this narrative, WWE has suddenly made Strowman's story far more interesting.
Rollins' chase of Owens promises to be a major part of the show as it has been for weeks. Their rematch is already official, as announced at No Mercy on Sunday:
That pursuit has been one lined with an array of obstacles. Not only has Rollins had to deal with Owens, but he has also collided with the champ's best friend Chris Jericho, his former mentor Triple H and Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon, who may or may not be involved in a conspiracy against Rollins.
The Architect has been limited by a rib injury of late. Last Monday, he appeared in a taped interview rather than compete in the ring.
However, he returned to action over the weekend, taking on Owens several times at various house shows, per the Internet Wrestling Database.
History says that Rollins' hunt for the Universal Championship will be a tumultuous one. Owens has a number of allies at his side, and the heel is due to deliver a lasting image of his mercilessness.
