Tottenham Transfer News: Latest Heung-Min Son and Wilfried Zaha Rumours
Tottenham Hotspur have alerted any club hoping to make a move for forward Heung-Min Son after reportedly slapping a £33.5 million price tag on the player. Meanwhile, summer Spurs target Wilfried Zaha could play for Barcelona, according to his manager.
German newspaper Bild reported Tottenham are asking for a considerable £33.5 million sum if they're to part ways with Son following a summer of speculation linking him with the White Hart Lane exit (h/t TalkSport).

German outfit Wolfsburg were the most closely attached party associated with a move for the maestro, who has fallen down the pecking order since arriving from Bayer Leverkusen just over a year ago.
But it doesn't appear as though Son wants to leave Spurs just yet, and Squawka News relayed that he even skipped international duty with South Korea in order to focus on regaining his place at club level:
Son was greeted with great expectation after manager Mauricio Pochettino signed him for a reported £22 million in 2015, but he's started just 13 Premier League games for Spurs, making 40 appearances in total.
Signs suggest Tottenham may be open to selling the player if they were able to find a suitable replacement, too, after the Mirror's Alex Richards spoke of links to another Leverkusen ace in August:
One player who might have filled Son's boots at one stage was Crystal Palace winger Zaha, associated with a move to Spurs this summer and whose talents manager Alan Pardew lauded in a recent interview.
Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser (h/t Goal's Alex Fisher), Pardew suggested the sky was the limit for a player who drew a summer bid from Tottenham, which was then turned down:
"I think we're a good platform for him to do that in the Premier League. I have tried to say to him I want him to be a massive success here.
If Spurs blew us out of the water or Man City offered £50 million and it was Champions League football, okay, it's because you're the finished product.
This is what Wilf's ambition should be, but he needs to address his goals and assists.
If a club came in with, say, £50-£60 million – let's say a Manchester City, Barcelona or Real Madrid, and he's got 10 goals and nine assists – as his manager at Crystal Palace I can't really stand in his way.
"
Zaha is back at Selhurst Park on permanent terms after spending an uneventful 18-month spell at Manchester United, and the attacker is now back to showing his best for his boyhood club.
The Mirror's Ed Malyon also paid the forward high praise, selecting him as part of an Eagles XI that might stake a claim as being the best of its kind:
Spurs failed with their attempt to sign Zaha this past summer and may think twice about doubling their efforts after hearing what Pardew's expectations of the player are.
Having rejuvenated his career since returning to the South London outfit, Zaha is sure to keep attracting attention as long as he keeps improving, but a move may be outside Spurs' reach as things stand.
