Manchester City Transfer News: Latest on Joe Hart and Stevan Jovetic Rumours
Everton have withdrawn their interest in Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart due to the England international's wage demands.
Dominic King of the Daily Mail reported the Goodison Park outfit cannot justify the player's huge £7 million-per-season wages, and the current good form of Maarten Stekelenburg has quelled the need to find a new stopper.
City manager Pep Guardiola has told Hart he is no longer needed at the Etihad Stadium after an illustrious career with the Sky Blues, per King.

BBC Sport's Simon Stone highlighted La Liga outfit Sevilla and Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are not interested in Hart after recent speculation regarding the goalkeeper's future:
The Manchester Evening News' James Robson has questioned Guardiola's decision to oust Hart from the north-west club, considering his goalkeeping stock:

Guardiola clearly favours the inclusion of a sweeper-keeper to protect his defence, and the purchase of Barcelona's Claudio Bravo will allow him to employ his most favoured tactics in English football, per Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports.
Despite Hart's fall from prominence, the City boss declared he still features in his immediate plans.
Per Joe Short of the Daily Express, the Spaniard said: "I have said many times that he [Hart] is a player for us and I work with all the players that are here. It’s easier to work with small squads. We have a huge squad right now and in the Premier League, there are more games and more physical games."
Here is Bravo in action for the Camp Nou club:
Hart played 35 times in the Premier League last season, keeping 15 clean sheets during the campaign, according to Squawka.com. The goalkeeper only conceded an average of 1.03 goals per game, achieving a 96 per cent claim success across last term.
Despite good statistics in his favour, Hart's issue is with the ball at his feet, and he is not the most cultured when it comes to distribution or intelligent passing.
Guardiola needs a stopper who can double as a centre-back as City execute a high pressing style for which the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach is famous.

In other news, City are set to receive a £12.5 million windfall due to the sale of Stevan Jovetic to Inter Milan.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato (h/t Short of the Express), due to a number of complicated clauses in the player's deal, Inter might be forced to pay City the lump sum after completing a year of his two-year loan spell at the San Siro.
The clause that will trigger the fee is believed to become active once Jovetic plays for the Nerazzurri again. However, Inter have gone cold on the talent and do not want him, leaving the attacker in limbo in Italy.
A second clause could see the Sky Blues receive the cash, even if Jovetic doesn't play for Inter again, per Calciomercato. The outlet reported: "[Inter] are said to be desperate to get his £50,000-a-week salary off their wage bill, with Russia's Zenit St. Petersburg a reported suitor."

It is a sad end to Hart's career at City after a telling contribution over the past decade to the club's rise up the table and breaking into the UEFA Champions League.
However, the England star doesn't have the faculties to execute his new manager's tactics, and a swift departure would benefit all parties concerned.
