Paco Alcacer to Barcelona: Latest Transfer Details, Comments and Reaction
Barcelona snapped up Valencia striker Paco Alcacer on Tuesday, with the Spaniard putting pen to paper on a five-year deal.
The club announced the news via their official website, with the Blaugrana paying €30 million and a potential €2 million in add-ons as well as the forward having a €100 million release clause.
The Mirror's Ed Malyon gave his reaction from the point of view of both clubs:

So, too, did beIN Sports' David Cartlidge:
Alcacer came through the youth ranks at the Mestalla Stadium and broke into the first team in the 2013-14 season.
The 23-year-old has established himself as an important part of Valencia's squad, and last season he notched 13 goals and seven assists in LaLiga, despite Los Che enduring a disappointing campaign.
Here are some of his highlights:
The striker—who has also netted six goals for Spain in 13 appearances—has excellent technical skills, and not only does he use the ball well, but he demonstrates clever movement off it.
While he may not have the kind of flair boasted by the likes of Neymar, the forward plays the game with panache and should be able to link up well with his new team-mates, joining Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez among the forward options.
Football journalist Rafael Hernandez believes he will be an excellent signing for the Blaugrana:
It will take a monumental effort to unseat any of Barca's front three, but Alcacer's presence will afford manager Luis Enrique more opportunities to rest and rotate the trio over the course of the season.
With Barcelona usually battling on multiple fronts throughout the campaign, the youngster will get his chance to shine at the Camp Nou—and he'll probably take it.
As for Valencia, Barcelona confirmed that Munir El Haddadi would head the other way on loan, easing the pressure on Santi Mina, Rafa Mir and Rodrigo following Alvaro Negredo's loan move to Middlesbrough.
Munir will need to have a big year to replace Alcacer's goalscoring contribution, though.
