Arsenal Transfer News: Riyad Mahrez Offer Details Emerge Amid Latest Rumours
Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez is reportedly prepared to force a move to Arsenal after the Gunners submitted a €41 million (£35.3 million) bid for the Algerian winger.
French outlet L'Equipe (via beIN Sports' Matt Spiro) reported Mahrez is "determined" to join the north London club. He would be a huge boost for Arsenal in their bid to make quality attacking additions to their squad:

Previously, Ilyes Ramdani of Eurosport.fr (translated by Tom Coast of Sport Witness) suggested the 25-year-old would not "go head-to-head with a club [Leicester] he has a lot of respect for," and the Foxes were intent on keeping hold of him.
That revelation came before Arsenal made an initial bid of £30 million for Mahrez, which was rejected by Leicester, per L'Equipe's Gilles Favard (h/t Get French Football News).
Despite Mahrez's reported eagerness to quit the Foxes for Arsenal, it is highly likely Leicester will again reject Arsenal's new bid of £35.3 million.
Per Sky Sports' Stephen Turner, Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri recently confirmed Mahrez has no release clause in his contract, which currently extends to 2019.
It wouldn't be unreasonable for Leicester to demand up to £50 million for the 2015-16 PFA Player of the Year, whose immense contribution last season helped the Foxes achieve their extraordinary Premier League title win, per WhoScored.com:
The famously frugal Arsenal will have to up their bid considerably if they are to sign Mahrez, but he will be worth a major outlay from the Gunners if he can continue to produce his 2015-16 form.
An attacking midfield three of Mahrez on the right flank, Mesut Ozil in the No. 10 role and Alexis Sanchez on the left would be devastating.
Meanwhile, with Mahrez able to also operate on the left wing, Gunners manager Arsene Wenger could utilise Sanchez as a striker in place of the the consistently underwhelming Olivier Giroud, per the Daily Mirror's Ed Malyon:
Indeed, the addition of the Algeria international would open up all kinds of attacking possibilities for Wenger.
Per Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe, Ozil is most effective in the No. 10 role but can also operate out wide if need be:
Theo Walcott can play as a striker or a winger, while Alex Iwobi emerged as an exciting prospect on the left flank last season.
The numerous combinations available to Wenger with Mahrez in his squad would reduce the necessity to play Giroud all the time. Perhaps it would even lessen the squad's glaring need to add a new striker.
The Frenchman could field a fluid and effective attack without Giroud, who has long been the weak link in the Gunners' front line.
However, given how important Mahrez is to Leicester, Arsenal will have to break with tradition and table a significant bid in order to persuade the Foxes to part with him.
