Liverpool Transfer News: Latest on Lazar Markovic and Luis Alberto Rumours
Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic's future at Anfield is in doubt after Jurgen Klopp admitted he is unsure of his plans for the attacker.
Jamie Anderson of the Daily Star quoted the German manager speaking about Markovic's return to action, after a serious hamstring injury derailed his campaign while on loan at Fenerbahce last term:
"He has developed well. When we started to train, you could really see that he didn't trust his body 100 per cent.
He had a serious injury. We spoke about this. Everybody knows that Lazar is a very quick player, but he was not at 100 percent.
He had some doubts about how it would be, so he needed the first one or two weeks. And since then he has become better and better and better.
He's in good shape. I'm not sure where his 100 per cent is, but he's in a good way and he's a nice lad, good boy, funny, works hard. That's the truth.
At the end we have to see how we will build our squad.

The former Benfica starlet arrived in a £20 million transfer in 2014, per Anderson, but failed to settle in the Premier League, often behind the pace of the English game as he struggled to make a good impression.
The 22-year-old made 14 appearances in the Super Lig for Fener, according to WhoScored.com, but broke down before scoring in the domestic league competition.
In other news, midfielder Luis Alberto might be joining Markovic through the exit door as reports say the player could rejoin Sevilla after departing for the Reds in 2013.
Rafael Pineda of El Pais (h/t Jonathan Green of the Daily Star) reported Alberto is attracting interest from the La Liga club after the sale of Fernando Llorente.

The former Spain under-21 international has been on the periphery of Klopp's squad and appears surplus to requirements.
Markovic arrived at Anfield with high hopes, and his skill and pace attributes appeared to make him perfect for Liverpool's squad.
However, English football did not suit his style or application, and after his serious injury last season, there was always going to a mountainous journey for the attacker to rise back to prominence.
The Reds are unlikely to receive a sum close to the huge price they paid for the Serbia international, but they can shift the attacker from their wage bill to free up space for further new talent.
