Morris Claiborne Injury: Updates on Cowboys CB's Ankle and Return
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers with an ankle injury. However, David Helman of DallasCowboys.com announced that he was available to play.
The Cowboys listed Claiborne, 26, as a full participant in Friday's practice. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday, indicating that he's a good bet to play this week.
In his fifth NFL season, Claiborne has yet to play a full 16-game schedule. He appeared in a career-high 15 games as a rookie but has missed at least five contests in each of the last three years. Hamstring and ankle injuries limited him to 11 games last season, and he was absent for all but four in 2014.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"When y'all come talk to me, I want y'all to say, 'That was a nice pick. Oh, you made this play. How does it feel to be going to the Pro Bowl? How does it feel to be going to the Super Bowl?'" Claiborne said in July, per Austin Knoblauch of NFL.com.
"Those are the questions I want," he continued. "I'm ready to take on that task, and I know the coaches expect a lot from me. I know I expect a lot from myself. Nothing less. I have some high goals this year, and I'm going to try to do everything it takes to get there."
Racking up injury issues this early in the season isn't going to help him reach that goal. Claiborne has been performing at perhaps the best level of his NFL career, recording 21 tackles and an interception during Dallas' 4-1 start.
