Barcelona Transfer News: Latest on Kevin Gameiro and Claudio Bravo Rumours
Atletico Madrid are reportedly set to swap Luciano Vietto for Sevilla's Kevin Gameiro, preventing Barcelona from signing either player.
According to Radio Sevilla (h/t Sport), Los Rojiblancos will offer €30 million, plus €5 million in add-ons and Vietto on loan with an option to buy, in order to land Gameiro, who is Barcelona's No. 1 priority.
Barca are also said to be interested in Vietto as their "second choice."

The Blaugrana have plenty of firepower but lack quality cover for their front three, which became a problem in the latter stages of last season, with manager Luis Enrique struggling to rotate the tiring trio.
Gameiro enjoyed a phenomenal season, racking up 29 goals and seven assists in all competitions. Here's a look at some of his best moments:
OptaJose demonstrated his value to Sevilla:
The Frenchman would certainly be a prolific and reliable alternative to Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
While not many players of his calibre would accept a back-up role, it seems Gameiro would be willing to do so at a club of Barcelona's stature, per football writer Andrew Gaffney:
As Gaffney noted, that could also apply to Atletico, where he would enjoy a more prominent role than he would at the Camp Nou.
There are other options out there for Barca to pursue as they bid to add to their squad, but missing out on two of their targets in one swoop would be a blow.

Meanwhile, according to Sport's Lluis Miguelsanz, Barca's coaching staff have "allegedly" opted to make Marc-Andre ter Stegen their new No. 1 keeper this summer, which could prompt Claudio Bravo to "re-evaluate the offers he has on the table," though the Chilean would like to stay put.
In recent times, Bravo has been the club's goalkeeper in La Liga, while Ter Stegen has played in the UEFA Champions League and cup matches, which the German is reported to be unhappy with.
Spanish football expert Sergi Dominguez hopes Ter Stegen is set to replace him following a series of poor performances in the Copa America Centenario this summer:
While he was far from his best for much of the Copa, Bravo has shown himself to be a viable option for Barca between the sticks.
He's 33, however, while Ter Stegen is 24—the latter is the club's future, and he should be treated as such.
