Fitzpatrick Returns to Game After Injury

Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk noted Fitzpatrick "didn't miss much time" after suffering the knee injury in the third quarter. He returned to the game and threw an interception in the fourth quarter.
Fitzpatrick Struggling to Impress in 2016
Now several months removed from signing a one-year, $12 million deal, Fitzpatrick has resembled a shell of the quarterback who had the Jets in playoff contention throughout last season after throwing for 3,905 yards, 31 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
Following Week 9, he has completed 56.4 percent of his passes for 1,983 yards, eight touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
Petty replaced Fitzpatrick in Week 9. The former Baylor quarterback could get a chance to win the starting role if he impresses in Week 10.
