Liverpool Transfer News: Latest on Jordon Ibe and Christian Benteke Exit Rumours
Liverpool have reportedly negotiated a buy-back and sell-on clause with Bournemouth following their agreement of a £15 million move for Jordon Ibe, but the winger is waiting to hear offers from other interested parties.
That's according to the Mirror's Alex Smith, who noted West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United are also believed to be interested in the 20-year-old and adds that Ibe "is in no rush to sign any contracts and has not ruled out staying put" in order to try to nail down a starting berth at Liverpool.
As Squawka Football revealed, Ibe is a highly talented dribbler:

However, his end product leaves much to be desired, which should be of real concern for any clubs considering making a significant investment in him.
According to Squawka, he created just 20 chances in 27 Premier League matches last season and scored only once. He's not known for tracking back, either, making nine tackles and one interception in that time.
Bleacher Report UK's Sam Tighe and Gianluca Di Marzio's Joseph Musker were understandably taken aback by reports of a £15 million transfer fee:
Such an investment would be a fairly significant gamble, particularly for a Newcastle side fighting for promotion and Bournemouth as they look to survive.
Of the interested parties, the Magpies are arguably the most attractive proposition despite being in the Championship next season due to their stature and the exciting project Rafa Benitez looks to be building there.
However, their capture of Matt Ritchie from the Cherries means they have less need for Ibe's services.
Regardless of which club he prefers and where he ends up, what is clear is that Ibe must improve his delivery and produce more consistent performances.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace and Liverpool are yet to agree on a fee for Christian Benteke as the Reds are "holding out for a deal that will recoup the £32 million paid to Aston Villa last summer," according to the Mirror's Ed Malyon.
However, the Eagles have agreed personal terms with Benteke and both clubs "are optimistic a deal will be completed this week."
Tighe believes Benteke will thrive at Selhurst Park:
So too does the Times' Tony Barrett, while football writer Philippe Auclair noted his signing would cap off an excellent summer of business for Palace:
Benteke has been an ill-fitting player at Anfield since his arrival—even more so after Jurgen Klopp became manager—and he evidently lacks the tools needed to adapt to the German's system.
At Palace, with the team set up to play to his strengths, he can become the prolific player he was prior to joining Liverpool, having netted 49 goals in 101 games for Aston Villa.
