Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Hirving Lozano, Adnan Januzaj Rumours
Manchester United are in talks to sign Pachuca winger Hirving Lozano, the Mexican club's president has confirmed.
According to ESPN's Mac Resendiz (h/t the Daily Star's Jack Wilson), Pachuca president Andres Fassi said: "Already there is negotiations with [United]? Yes. There is still nothing closed though."
The 20-year-old is one of the rising stars of Mexican football and enjoyed a productive season with Pachuca, playing out wide, per WhoScored.com:

He also laid on 10 assists for his team-mates. Here are some of his highlights:
The Red Devils have already made excellent strides toward improving their play in the final third thanks to the captures of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan—the latter's former club, Borussia Dortmund, revealing he had joined United, per Sky Sports—but it wouldn't be surprising if they were to add at least one more new face into the mix.
As the video demonstrated, Lozano possesses pace and strong technical skills, and his willingness to run at defenders makes him an exciting prospect.
ESPN's Tom Marshall is an admirer:
As Marshall noted, signing him would carry an element of risk, though—as would the capture of any footballer untested in Europe.
It could be a safer move for manager Jose Mourinho to rely on the players already at his disposal—Adnan Januzaj, for example.

According to an exclusive from the Sun's Daniel Cutts, if he does not feature in Mourinho's first-team plans, Januzaj will tell him "he wants to leave the club permanently this week and not go out on loan again."
The Belgian spent the first half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund but was unable to make a significant impact at Signal Iduna Park and returned to United in January.
However, as noted by Rob Dawson of the Manchester Evening News and football writer Liam Canning, it quickly became apparent he would not be used much by Louis van Gaal:
"Why bring back Januzaj because he's not getting enough games then not put him on when you need a goal. Odd.
— Rob Dawson (@RobDawsonMEN) January 23, 2016"
Indeed, he played just 17 minutes of Premier League football upon his return to Old Trafford, which saw the 21-year-old miss out on Belgium's squad for UEFA Euro 2016.
Should Mourinho sign Lozano, it would almost certainly signal the end of Januzaj's time at United, and he would need to reignite his stalling career elsewhere.
The versatile playmaker also has great potential and possesses impressive dribbling skills and creativity, so Mourinho has a difficult decision to make.
