Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest Paul Pogba Rumours Amid Manchester United Talk
Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly set for an "imminent meeting" with the club amid rumours he could move to Real Madrid, with former club Manchester United said to be "willing to spend" a world-record £100 million on the player.
According to Fabrizio Romano of Italian outlet CalcioMercato.com, Juve's hierarchy will inform Pogba and his agent, Mino Raiola, that any club hoping to buy the player will have to shell out a fee "as close as possible to" €120 million (£100 million).

Raiola is said to be central to United's recruitment plans this summer, with two of his other clients, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Borussia Dortmund's Henrikh Mkhitaryan, also mentioned as being close to joining the Red Devils.
Romano's report added Real Madrid have offered the player €8 million (£6.7 million) a year—close to £130,000 a week—but the Frenchman is seeking more, and according to Sky Sports' Kaveh Solhekol, United will comply with his demands:
A revolution appears to be underway at Old Trafford as new boss Jose Mourinho looks to put the Red Devils back on par with Europe's best and brightest. Still, Real manager Zinedine Zidane is still hopeful he can make a move for his compatriot, it seems.
However, Match of the Day's Gary Lineker argued Pogba is a majorly overrated talent following his string of subpar performances for France at Euro 2016:
Pogba has three years remaining on his contract in Turin, and he's been a major success with the Old Lady, winning four Serie A titles in his four seasons at the club.
It's suggested Juve could offer their star a new deal and a pay rise to stay at the club, but Pogba may finally be inclined to capitalise on his talent and seek a more lucrative opportunity elsewhere, such as the Santiago Bernabeu.
Despite his disappointing displays thus far at the European Championship, Pogba's reputation has been built up over the past four years because he has consistently dazzled with one of Europe's finest teams at club level.
Even though he hasn't been at his best this summer, the box-to-box talisman has still managed to excel in one part of the pitch at Euro 2016, according to WhoScored.com:
Still just 23 years of age, the midfielder has made massive strides since leaving United for a paltry compensatory fee in 2012, when Sir Alex Ferguson was still at the helm of the club.
Real are very much in the hunt for Pogba, but Los Merengues may be forced to splash a substantial figure if they're to beat big-spending United to the player's signature.
