Waynes Active vs. Packers

The Vikings announced Waynes is available against Green Bay on Saturday.
Waynes Is Valuable Part of Vikings Defense
Waynes was fairly durable in his rookie season in 2015 and appeared in 15 of a possible 16 regular-season games, so the Vikings defense is not accustomed to playing without him as an option.
Entering Week 14, Waynes had 43 total tackles and two interceptions.
Minnesota used a first-round pick on Waynes, but he did not post an interception in 2015 and had only 30 combined tackles. Part of his lack of production was the fact the Vikings had a deep rotation of cornerbacks that cut into Waynes' playing time that featured veterans Terence Newman, Captain Munnerlyn and Xavier Rhodes.
Minnesota finished a solid 12th in the league in passing yards allowed per game with those cornerbacks in 2015 and reached the postseason.
