Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Radja Nainggolan and Antonio Rudiger Rumours
Incoming Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has suffered a double blow in his pursuit of Serie A talents Radja Nainggolan and Antonio Rudiger, after AS Roma confirmed they have "no intention" of selling the duo this summer.
Vaishali Bhardwaj of the London Evening Standard reported Giallorossi club president James Pallotta addressed rumours surrounding the pair and categorically dismissed their potential exits away from the Italian capital city.
"I keep telling all of you that Nainggolan’s not going anywhere," Pallotta said. "We have no intention to sell Rudiger. We don't want to sell anyone, the squad fits perfectly so," he added.

Here is a video of Nainggolan in action:
Nainggolan is a primary target for Conte, and the player recently told HLN Nina (h/t Bhardwaj) he is aware of the Blues' interest but doesn't think he would enjoy the English weather:
"Going to Chelsea would be an opportunity, as I’d improve as a player and in economic terms. But money isn’t the most important thing and I don’t think I could improve my current quality of life.
I built my home in Rome, where the sun always shines. Giving all this up would be difficult. Life isn’t just football. Can you see me in England, where it rains all the time?
"

Nainggolan has developed into one of Serie A's greatest talents, and he featured heavily for his club in 2015-16.
The Belgian started 33 times for Roma in the league, according to WhoScored.com, scoring six goals from central midfield.
The 28-year-old has spent the majority of his career in Italian football, and his stay will extend beyond its current 10-year period.
Rudiger has developed into a versatile defender who can switch between central and wide duties, and the 23-year-old has been selected by Germany for Euro 2016.

The player was on loan at Roma last term from VfB Stuttgart, but the Italian club have exercised their option to a permanent transfer, per Bhardwaj.
The German completed 36 games for Roma in Serie A and Europe last season, per WhoScored.com, and has seen his stock rise dramatically.
Conte faces a huge rebuilding operation during the summer, and he will need to fill his Chelsea squad with a number of new faces.
Nainggolan has been watched by many of Europe's best teams in recent times, and the Italian coach will have closely admired his work in Italy.
However, it appears the player has no desire to make the switch to the Premier League, leaving Conte the task of looking elsewhere for a talisman figure.
The Belgium international has the engine Chelsea need in the centre, and Conte will need to strengthen his midfield core before pre-season.
