Preakness TV Schedule 2016: NBC TV Info, Start Time and Race Live Stream
Nyquist leads a sea of elite horse racing talent descending upon Baltimore this week, as the reigning Kentucky Derby champion looks to continue his quest for the 2016 Triple Crown at the Preakness Stakes on Saturday.
Trainer Doug O'Neill brings his in-form powerhouse to Pimlico hoping Nyquist can replicate the performance that saw him rampage to victory at Churchill Downs just a fortnight ago.
As is usually the case with the middle meeting in the Triple Crown calendar, Preakness will host a substantially shortened field on Saturday, but that won't take away from the entertainment over nine-and-a-half furlongs.
We provide all the essential viewing information ahead of Preakness 2016 to make sure you don't miss a second of the action in the Run for the Black-Eyed Susans.

Preakness Preview

All eyes are on Nyquist ahead of Saturday's showdown, with the horse racing community waiting to see if this three-year-old can join last year's Triple Crown winner, American Pharoah, in the history books.
While some horses are resting up for the Belmont Stakes next month, it means Preakness will welcome some new faces into the field, but Hall of Fame jockey Jerry D. Bailey doesn't see those horses as a concern for Nyquist, per the official Breeders' Cup Twitter account:
It was Exaggerator who managed to keep the undefeated Nyquist within a length-and-a-quarter at Kentucky earlier in May, but a less populated field also threatens to close down chances of upsetting the favourite.
That being said, NBC analyst Eddie Olczyk appeared on the Rich Eisen Show and insisted much will depend on the conditions at Pimlico, where "sloppy" conditions could see Exaggerator thrive:
Eight races into his career, Nyquist resembles the same kind of unstoppable force American Pharoah did en route to his Triple Crown in 2015, winning eight races to date, with five of those coming at Grade I level.
At The Races pundit Tim Carroll isn't looking past O'Neill's favourite for the victory at Preakness, having not been too impressed by any of those horses he saw at Churchill Downs a fortnight ago:
Collected, Uncle Lino, Cherry Wine and Laoban are all among the eight new runners granted entry to the 2016 Preakness Stakes as things stand, with Lani, Exaggerator and Nyquist the only Kentucky Derby survivors.
Of all the newcomers, Todd Pletcher-trained Stradivari may be an outside bet to watch out for, having won two of his three races to date, per Horse Racing Nation.
