Analysis

A much more focused show than Monday's Raw, this week's SmackDown shines a spotlight on the biggest and most important matches to take place at Extreme Rules. In fact, the only match on Thursday's show that does not have a direct effect on the weekend spectacular is Dana Brooke vs. Paige. Even then, it still involves the budding rivalry between Brooke and Becky Lynch.
It should be interesting to see if the show-closing segment maintains the heat Monday's did, with Styles and Reigns selling the audience one last time on their championship clash.
Reigns vs. Gallows was originally slated for last week's show and is probably the weakest of the potential matches involving the six Superstars. With that said, Gallows is an underrated big man whose agility is rare for a performer of his size. Reigns' recent track record speaks for itself.
Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus always have strong matches, and anytime Kevin Owens and Cesaro square off, fans can expect a superb bout. Those two matches, coupled with the promise of last-second hype for Extreme Rules makes this Thursday's show worth tuning into.
