Per TMZ's report, multiple witnesses said Flair was "acting like a drunk person," being loud and obnoxious and "shambling about."
However, Donlon told the site that during Flair's treatment he was deemed to be not drunk and was allowed to get on the plane. A representative told TMZ the legendary wrestler "is fine."
Flair has been making regular television appearances this year, notably being paired with his daughter and current WWE women's champion, Charlotte. He was at WrestleMania 32 on April 3 in her corner as she successfully defended her title in a Triple Threat match against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.
Charlotte is slated to defend the WWE women's title at Payback this Sunday against Natalya, as Flair is scheduled to be in Charlotte's corner, with Hall of Famer Bret Hart in Natalya's corner.
Widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers in history, Flair was elected to the WWE Hall of Fame as a solo performer in 2008 and again as part of the Four Horsemen in 2012. His last match came in 2012 at the age of 63.
