Karl-Anthony Towns Flashes Ball-Handling Ability on 2-Way Play
What's built like a big man but possesses guard-like ball-handling skills? A KAT (aka the Minnesota Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns).
Up 26-15 over the New Orleans Pelicans with just under three minutes remaining in the first quarter, the versatile rookie transformed the hardwood (and the defenders on it) into his own personal Taco Bell Skills Challenge course.
The stunning sequence began with Towns' steal, but rather than defer to nearby teammates Andrew Wiggins and Zach Lavine, he turned up court, setting his sights on the basket.
Confronted with Tim Frazier's reaching hand, he navigated away with a behind-the-back dribble.
Met with James Ennis' outstretched grasp, he surged past it with a shrug.
And when Frazier attempted to block Towns' path as well as his shot? He nimbly side-stepped the guard and elevated for the finger roll.
Simply put, much like the aforementioned skills challenge, he tore it up.
