Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson's Best Potential Feuds on WWE Roster
With the emphatic arrival of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, the WWE tag team division suddenly has the fearsome heels it desperately needed.
The Usos have a set of dangerous warriors to do battle with. The New Day has its most intimidating threat yet. And should Gallows and Anderson reform a version of their Bullet Club faction, WWE's booking options will get even more enticing.
For months, speculation buzzed about Gallows and Anderson moving from New Japan Pro Wrestling to WWE, following AJ Styles' and Shinsuke Nakamura's leads. On Monday's Raw, the pair of bruisers emerged, bashing The Usos into the ground in a debut with a decidedly WCW Outsiders air to it.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
WWE fans may recognize Gallows, who played both CM Punk's lackey and Festus in the late '00s.
The big man moved on to TNA, where he was a key member of Aces & Eights, before traveling to Japan. That's where he started teaming with Anderson and began to fully reach his potential.
Gallows became the monster WWE had to be hoping he'd become, growling and smashing his way to tag team success.
Anderson, who had previously tagged with Giant Bernard (current NXT trainer Jason Albert) in Japan, was the more technically savvy half of the team. Together, they claimed the IWGP Tag Team Championship three times and won the World Tag League in 2013.
During their NJPW run, they played two of The Bullet Club's titans, providing the group's muscle. Finn Balor led the stable before moving to WWE. Styles supplanted him as leader.
Now, with all four men working for WWE, fans will no doubt suspect some sort of reunion. With or without that move, Gallows and Anderson will make a major impact on the tag division.
A number of mouthwatering feuds are now on the table for the in-your-face, disrespectful, New World Order-inspired duo.
The Usos
The most obvious rivalry for Gallows and Anderson is with the men they blasted on Monday night.
The Usos had just won their first-round matchup against The Social Outcasts to advance in the No. 1 contender's tag team tourney. In stormed Gallows and Anderson in street clothes, fists at the ready.

They laid a beatdown on the brothers that could easily be the catalyst for a feud between them.
Perhaps The Usos lose in the second round thanks to injuries suffered at the hands of Gallows and Anderson. Perhaps the newcomers continue to target The Usos, costing them a win at some point in the tournament. Or the twins could just seek revenge for that first attack.
Brian Fritz of Sporting News sees them colliding at the Payback pay-per-view:
In addition to this story already having its foundation in place, The Usos would make for quality in-ring opponents for Gallows and Anderson. The contrast of styles, of power and speed, will make for fun action ahead.
Their bouts promise to look a lot like The Usos' battles with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in 2014. Those were some of The Usos' best matches, contests that made Jimmy and Jey look like mighty warriors.
The same effect is possible with this rivalry. The Usos can look gutsy in defeat. Gallows and Anderson can start out their WWE run by overpowering these fan favorites in a series of high-quality matches.
That's a smart way to introduce them.
The New Day
The champions have suffered from lack of true competition. WWE had them take on The Usos and The Dudley Boyz, but neither feud really clicked. The New Day hasn't had that one defining rival, a team to push them to their proverbial limits.
Gallows and Anderson can do just that.

They have an intimidating aura, and it's hard not to get excited about their arrival because of it. Daily DDT's Rob Wolkenbrod wrote, "This is what we've been waiting for for months, and they've finally arrived. Anderson and Gallows should tear through the tag team division."
Should two Bullet Club members do just that in the early going, WWE can paint them as unstoppable forces. That would set up quite the intriguing battle between the likable New Day with the prowling predators new to the scene.
The juxtaposition of their characters would make for an intriguing rivalry. It would be a story of both comedy and darkness.
And it makes most sense that The New Day would be Gallows and Anderson's ultimate target. If you storm into a kingdom, you go after the kings. And WWE can talk up how many titles the heels have won elsewhere, telling the audience that Gallows and Anderson now want the prize that New Day holds.
Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods' reign has lacked a memorable "ultimate" series of battles. That would change in an instant with WWE's latest bruisers striving for tag team gold.
The Wyatt Family
WWE appears to be turning The Wyatt Family into babyfaces, looking to take advantage of the stable's popularity. Taking on The League of Nations isn't an effective way to make that transition. Sheamus and Company just have no momentum to speak of.
Instead, Bray Wyatt and his followers would be far better off mixing it up with Gallows and Anderson.
The Bullet Club alumni could continue their attacks on the roster's teams. They could be uncontrollable and cold-blooded as they attacked The Usos and others. The Wyatt Family could then play the cavalry.
This is an especially appealing option should Gallows and Anderson expand their group. If Styles begins to lead them again, Balor takes charge or a heel Reigns joins forces with them, The Wyatt Family would have a powerful stable to contend with.
And it looks as if WWE does want to showcase some version of The Bullet Club. The company has not been shy in making references to that group.
Like The Shield's battles with Wyatt's crew in 2014, a revamped Bullet Club against The Wyatt Family promises to be a spectacle of violence and chaos. That's what WWE should strive for when choosing who Gallows and Anderson go after in the coming weeks.
The newly arrived predators can be key to the tag team division's surge, and WWE can charge into the summer with an entranced audience looking on.
