FSU's Jimbo Fisher Unharmed in Car Crash Before Seminoles Scrimmage
Florida State Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher was involved in a two-car accident Saturday ahead of FSU's intrasquad scrimmage, per Jared Shanker of ESPN.com.
Fisher didn't suffer any injuries as a result of the crash, though the driver of the other car and one of the passengers were taken to a hospital.
Fisher's vehicle sustained "disabling front end damage" and was towed away from the scene. The ESPN.com report didn't make note of the vehicle Fisher was driving, though, last month, Shanker shared a photo of a truck the coach had driven to Doak Campbell Stadium at the time:
The police report cited wet road conditions as one of the factors leading to the crash. A little over an inch of rain fell in Tallahassee, Florida, on April 2, per Weather Underground.
Despite the accident, Fisher managed to attend the scrimmage, which served as a tune-up for Florida State's spring game this Saturday in Orlando, Florida.
The Seminoles will begin their regular season on Sept. 5 against the Ole Miss Rebels as they look to dethrone the Clemson Tigers as ACC champions.
