WWE WrestleMania 32: Biggest Unanswered Questions Going into Event
Mystery surrounds how pieces such as The Rock and The Wyatt Family fit into the WWE WrestleMania 32 puzzle.
Just how The Rock will affect the marquee event is among the biggest questions on fans' minds. The megastar is too valuable to have just pop in at AT&T Stadium to warm up the crowd. Expect him to have an impact on one of the major matches of the night.
It's not clear whether we can say that about The Wyatt Family. Bray Wyatt's backwoods crew isn't on the card, but one has to imagine WWE has something in mind for the group.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
And both the Divas Championship match and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship bouts offer their own uncertainties. Will the company truly showcase Charlotte and her foes? Will the latest chapter in the Roman Reigns story also be marked by boos?
More than the results of each contest, those subplots are what has the audience unsure ahead of WrestleMania.
Will the Women Actually Get Significant Time?
There has been ample discussion about an ongoing revolution in women's wrestling. WWE has talked about it being time for the female athlete to rise.
Is this all lip service, or will the Divas title match indeed be the turning point may expect it to be?
Match time will be among the biggest keys to making that happen. WrestleMania, though, has a paltry history when it comes to offering women a stage on which to flourish.
The last 10 Divas matches at The Show of Shows have been anything but marathon battles:
| Event | Match | Match Time |
| WrestleMania 31 | AJ Lee and Paige vs. The Bella Twins | 6:36 |
| WrestleMania 30 | Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational | 6:47 |
| WrestleMania 28 | Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres | 6:47 |
| WrestleMania 26 | 10-Person Tag Match | 3:21 |
| WrestleMania 25 | Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal | 5:57 |
| WrestleMania 24 | Beth Phoenix and Melina vs. Ashley Massaro and Maria Kanellis | 5:56 |
| WrestleMania 23 | Ashley Massaro vs. Melina | 3:14 |
| WrestleMania 22 | Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James | 8:48 |
| WrestleMania 22 | Torrie Wilson vs. Candice Michelle | 3:54 |
| WrestleMania 21 | Trish Stratus vs. Christy Hemme | 4:11 |
Only Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus went over the seven-minute mark in that span. The majority of those bouts were the shortest of the night.
Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch promises to buck history.
The clash feels like a statement waiting to happen, a means to announce the arrival of women's wrestling. All three competitors are highly talented. Buzz surrounds each of them as they close in on the title contest.
With so many filler matches occupying the card, it makes sense to let Charlotte and her challengers wrestle for at least 15 minutes.
That would be historic. WWE simply hasn't allotted that much of WrestleMania to women before. Until it happens, there is plenty of reason to doubt the Divas title match will go on for a extended amount of time.
Where Does The Wyatt Family Fit in?
Wyatt and his band of monsters have no dance partners as WrestleMania nears. That's odd considering how much WWE has showcased Braun Strowman in the past year and how Wyatt has been treated at the event in the past.
The Eater of Worlds' first two WrestleMania opponents were John Cena and Undertaker. He seems poised to be thrown into this year's Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

However, as of this writing, WWE has not yet added The Wyatt Family to the list of official participants.
There is still room to add Wyatt and company to that Battle Royal. Strowman is a good bet to win it if that's what happens. Wyatt himself would instantly be among the favorites too.
Is WWE going to use the over-the-top-rope match to catapult one of those men? If so, why haven't they been a part of the build to the bout? The Social Outcasts, Kane and Big Show have been the central figures in the lead-up to the contest.
Perhaps WWE has another spot in mind for Wyatt: Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar's No Holds Barred Street Fight.
Wyatt and Lesnar's issues have never been resolved. The New Face of Fear attacked the powerhouse before and during the Royal Rumble. He has yet to pay for that crime.
It's highly likely Wyatt will get involved in this matchup at some point, reigniting his rivalry with Lesnar.
But it's hard to say that for sure. WWE has been wildly inconsistent in how much it seems to value The Wyatt Family.
What Roles Will The Rock, Cena and Others Play?
WWE has heavily promoted The Rock's presence at WrestleMania without specifying what he will be doing once he gets there.
An injured John Cena is likely to pop up too. In fact, he said he's ready to go.
In an interview with Complex, Cena said: "I was given a nine-month quota to come back and after three months I can tell you that I am ready to do anything asked of me possible. It's a matter of when they call me."
When asked whether he was medically cleared, he simply said, "Yes."
Does WWE then throw him into a match somehow? He could instead interfere. The most obvious place to do that is in the Shane McMahon vs. Undertaker match.
Cena could play the cavalry and help take down The Authority. At the same time, if he helps ensure Undertaker loses, that sets up a Cena vs. The Deadman match at WrestleMania 33.
As for The Rock, he could be doing anything from lobbing insults backstage to being the means for Reigns to turn heel. WWE has given the audience no indication.
In addition, there have been rumblings about both Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin showing up. As Brian Gulish of Chair Shot Reality pointed out, a number of non-wrestling names are poised to make an impact:
The easy route is to have Cena, The Rock and the other marquee names meet up in the ring a la the opening of WrestleMania XXX. That would be a surefire way to get a resounding pop. Without even doing anything creative, WWE knows the star power involved would still create a huge moment.
But with the company trying to make this the biggest WrestleMania of all time, and with the card hurt so badly by injuries, one has to believe WWE has something bigger in mind than that.
Can Reigns Win the Fans Over?
On the last Raw before WrestleMania, Reigns and Triple H brawled at ringside as much of the roster tried to pull them apart. The Big Dog escaped long enough to climb in the ring, launch himself over the top rope and collide into a mass of people.
The crowd booed him regardless. Some chanted "You still suck!"
That's certainly not the reaction WWE was looking for when it drew up that moment. Reigns remains the babyface the crowd won't buy into. He is set to take on a guy in The Game who has been cheered despite how vile his character has been of late.
Scott Fishman of the Miami Herald was right on when he noted how difficult of a task WWE has ahead:
Will a tremendous showing from Reigns get fans behind him? It's not as if he hasn't had great matches already. And he may get the Cena treatment, with his detractors dismissing his efforts as a product of his opponent's skill, not his.
WWE may realize how futile it is to continue this narrative with Reigns and instead decide to let him turn heel.

Hall of Famer Jim Ross believes the timing is right for that switch, along with Triple H becoming a fan favorite. Ross wrote on his blog: "It appears to me that WWE/McMahon is sitting ripe and ready to add a swerve to the equation Sunday. The setting is perfect for a double turn, etc including Mr McMahon involvement."
That's one of WWE's many options to have the main event flourish despite the resistance to Reigns' ascension. Which trick the company will pull from its bag is uncertain, but bet on there being something surprising in the mix to aid Reigns.
