Chris Clemons Signs with Seahawks
Veteran defensive end Chris Clemons has found a home in the Pacific Northwest after signing with the Seattle Seahawks on Friday, the team announced.
Clemons is no stranger to the Seahawks. He spent four seasons with the team from 2010-13, winning Super Bowl 48 in his final season.
After the Seahawks released him in March 2014, Clemons reunited with his former defensive coordinator, Gus Bradley, who took over as head coach of the Jaguars in 2013.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 34-year-old Clemons recorded 11 sacks in two seasons with Jacksonville but only started seven games in 2015, and Jacksonville released on March 3. Even though 2015 wasn't his best season, Mike Renner of Pro Football Focus did note Clemons led the Jaguars with 34 quarterback pressures.
The Seahawks were looking for depth and versatility in their front seven after former first-round pick Bruce Irvin left for the Oakland Raiders.
Clemons has played defensive end, defensive tackle and linebacker in his career. He's no longer the player who recorded three straight 11-sack seasons from 2010-12, but he knows Seattle's system, and his rapport with head coach Pete Carroll will certainly make an easy transition.
