WWE SmackDown Spoilers: Complete Results and Analysis for February 25
Chris Jericho and AJ Styles set their differences aside on Monday night to score a win over The Social Outcasts, but they would be faced with a much stiffer challenge as WWE taped this week's episode of SmackDown just 24 hours later in Indianapolis.
Their opponents? The New Day in six-man tag team action.
Jericho and Styles would be forced to find a partner, creating even more questions about their ability to coexist. Could they eliminate their egos from the equation, focus on finding a partner and put an end to the win streak The New Day had been on?

After picking up a win at Fastlane, then learning that she would be involved in a No. 1 contender's match against Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch would battle Natalya during Tuesday's tapings. Did she emerge victorious and, more importantly, was there any word on when her match against The Boss would take place?
Fans in Indy got their answers and a whole lot more, including Triple H's return to the blue brand. Now you can too, courtesy of our friends at Wrestling Inc.

Results
- WWE world heavyweight champion Triple H kicked off the show. He bragged about beating down Roman Reigns on Raw and touted his authority. Everyone falls in line, he guaranteed, before promising to beat Reigns at WrestleMania.
- The League of Nations defeated Neville, Dolph Ziggler and The Lucha Dragons when Sheamus pinned Neville. During the match, Neville delivered two Red Arrows to King Barrett, and The League carried him out on its shoulders.
- Renee Young interviewed Kevin Owens backstage. He mockingly offered Dean Ambrose a rematch, but he was not in the building. Having beaten everyone else, Owens issued an open challenge, which was accepted by Big Show for later in the night.
- D-Von Dudley defeated Jimmy Uso in one minute after Bubba Ray Dudley interfered.
- Styles and Jericho chose Mark Henry as their partner for the night's main event.
- Intercontinental champion Owens defeated Big Show via count-out after "crotching" him on the top rope and shoving him to the floor.
- Natalya defeated Becky Lynch via disqualification when Tamina and Naomi interfered, the former delivering a superkick to the Queen of Harts at ringside. Sasha Banks made the save for Lynch before Charlotte appeared. She announced that the No. 1 contender's match between them would take place at Raw on Monday.
- R-Truth defeated Heath Slater with help from Goldust.
- Styles, Jericho and Henry defeated The New Day when Styles made Xavier Woods tap out to the Calf Crusher.

Analysis
The appearance from Triple H at the top of the show makes this episode feel infinitely more important than it otherwise would have.
A follow-up to his attack on Roman Reigns makes sense, even if it is only in the form of a brief in-ring promo. It gets him on the show, puts over the rivalry and makes the show look meaningful.
The continuation of the Jericho-Styles story in the main event slot lends it credibility. The only question that remains is whether Y2J's partnership with The Phenomenal One is legitimate or he is playing games with his rival.
The outcome of the main event would seem to suggest the former is correct, but one does not necessarily find major angle developments on the Thursday show. Thus, it is likely just a placeholder as the story advances in the coming weeks.
Eight-man tag team matches can be a lot of fun with the right mixture of talent, and the battle between The League of Nations and The Lucha Dragons, Dolph Ziggler and Neville looks fantastic on paper. If the Superstars involved can live up to even a fraction of their potential, it has the potential to be a delightfully energetic and electrifying match.
King Barrett enduring two finishers only to be carried out on the shoulders of his teammates as if he was some sort of hero is a great touch and really allows the 2015 King of the Ring to enjoy the spotlight that has eluded him for months.
Overall, the broadcast has the look of a fun one. With Mauro Ranallo and a motivated Jerry "The King" Lawler on commentary, every match is made to feel more important than it may actually be, which makes for a more enjoyable viewing experience.
While nothing earth-shattering occurs, there are far worse ways to spend your Thursday night.
