Brock Lesnar-Dean Ambrose Feud Will Be the Heart of WWE WrestleMania 32
It doesn't matter whose name is on the marquee; Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose will be the emotional center of WWE WrestleMania 32, their feud providing the premier event's polestar.
Their collision features the perfect combination of megastar and emerging talent, a captivating story and powerful chemistry. Lesnar is WWE's biggest star, a destructive force from which one simply can't look away. Pairing him against the unhinged, nervy fan favorite that is Ambrose will lead to magic at WrestleMania.
On Monday's Raw, when Paul Heyman growled into the microphone that Triple H and Roman Reigns can't be WrestleMania's main event as long as his client is on the card, he couldn't have been more right.

Even without the WWE title in the balance, The Beast Incarnate vs. The Lunatic Fringe will be what drives The Show of Shows.
The world title bout has cracks that the company must fill en route to WrestleMania. Reigns is dealing with a split crowd. He's the babyface so many fans have pushed back against. He is set to take on a lame-duck champion in a match sure to be held back by predictability.
The newly announced Shane McMahon-Undertaker match features two men in their 40s, both of whom may not be around next year.
Lesnar vs. Ambrose doesn't have those issues. It's a combination that clicks. It's a battle that has a magnetic pull.

For one, it features two Superstars fans deeply care about.
Lesnar is a once-in-generation talent, a freak athlete who has been cheered regardless of whether he is demonstrating babyface qualities or laying waste to the roster with no mercy. When he arrives, the stage he stands on seems grander. When he steps into the ring, the fight suddenly feels bigger.
Ambrose, meanwhile, is the rising star fans are increasingly getting behind.
He's the antihero with a quick wit and an aura of eccentricity whom so many wanted to see steal a win at Fastlane or be the triumphant dark horse at the Royal Rumble. Where Reigns meets resistance from the crowd because he's the prototype WWE star, Ambrose generates appeal thanks to being unique, a guy who worked his way up from the independent circuit.
Having those two compelling personalities meet ahead of Fastlane led to some of the best moments of 2016 thus far.
When Ambrose fearlessly stepped into Lesnar's face and begged him to take him to Suplex City, energy crackled in the air. Lesnar smirked at his foe, part irritated, part in awe. WWE soon realized it had something special to tap into.
On Monday night, Ambrose showed off how entrancing he can be in this current masochistic, never-say-die role.
He took a terrible beating from The Beast Incarnate in the parking lot before Raw began. Medical staff slid him into an ambulance. But before the show was over, Ambrose drove the ambulance into the Joe Louis Arena, looking for a fight despite not being able to stand up straight.
This story of a gutsy warrior facing the ultimate monster will be the highlight of the WrestleMania card.
Both men have a history of producing high-quality matches. In fact, their Triple Threat with Reigns at Fastlane was the best match of the year so far.
John Canton of TJR Wrestling is among those expecting big things from what's to come:
Kyle Fowle of the A.V. Club is in that group, too: "There's pretty much no chance that their match won't steal the whole show. I want a whole hour of those two beating the hell out of each other."
The audience will surely get plenty of whirlwind action as the wrecking ball meets the wall who refuses to crumble. WWE officially announced that Ambrose vs. Lesnar will be a No Holds Barred match.
That means the two enemies can pick up where they left off at Fastlane continuation, where The Lunatic Fringe clobbered Lesnar with a steel chair and brought him to his knees with a low blow.
Ambrose, who has done some of his best work inside a Hell in a Cell and in a Falls Count Anywhere match, will be right at home with the violence this stipulation at WrestleMania will provide. Adding chairs, tables and Kendo sticks to this already incendiary rivalry will lead to a massive explosion that will be the talk of the PPV.
And let's not forget that Heyman, the best non-wrestler on the roster, will be a part of this narrative.
The advocate already kicked off this leg of the feud with a fabulous performance. On Monday's Raw, he deftly painted his client as an unfeeling conqueror ready to go on a rampage while playing up Ambrose's strengths.
As ProWrestling.net's Jason Powell wrote, "It's WrestleMania season, and Heyman delivered a WrestleMania-season promo."
More of those are to come. So are intense interactions between Heyman and Ambrose.
All that adds up to a non-title grudge match between WrestleMania's true main event, regardless of where it ends up on the card. Ambrose and Lesnar are the key figures in WWE's current best story.
Their war promises to be the most engaging and memorable part of a monumental night.
