Titus O'Neil Reportedly Suspended by WWE: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction
According to PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson on Wednesday, WWE star Titus O'Neil was sent home from Tuesday night's taping of SmackDown and was suspended for "unprofessional conduct." The suspension stems from an incident on Monday in which he grabbed WWE owner Vince McMahon.
Per Johnson, the suspension could be for more than 90 days. However, Chris Perez of the New York Post reported WWE sources said the suspension would be for 60 days.
Monday's alleged incident took place during Raw as wrestlers and staff were headed to the locker room after honoring Bryan Danielson, known as Daniel Bryan in the ring, who announced his retirement.

Johnson reported what happened next:
"As WWE talents returned to the back, O'Neill grabbed WWE owner Vince McMahon by the arm in what was described to us as in a "playful, physical way." McMahon responded by shoving O'Neil away. McMahon's shove of O'Neill actually made it onto the final seconds of the broadcast.
We are told that McMahon was angry at being grabbed and that led to the suspension. There was also a feeling that O'Neil probably picked the wrong time to act in such a manner, given that it was a farewell for Bryan.
"
Per Johnson, the video of Monday Night Raw was edited so that the incident was absent, but Twitter user @sharker102s showed the short clip:
If the suspension does hold up for 90 days, O'Neil will miss WrestleMania 32 on April 3. The 38-year-old took to Instagram after the news of his suspension went public:
O'Neil is known as one of the good guys of the WWE thanks to his charity work in Tampa, Florida, per Johnson, as he's heavily involved in local community outreach programs.
Wrestling legend Mick Foley offered his support upon learning of O'Neil's suspension:
O'Neil has not only supported the community, but he's helped build the WWE brand with a tag team championship as a part of The Prime Time Players. It's puzzling for McMahon to suspend O'Neil for this long and keep him out of one of the biggest events of the season.
But if this is just a display of power by McMahon to remind everyone he still runs the show, it came against a wrestler who hardly deserves such a harsh punishment.
