Young Everton Fan with Cerebral Palsy Wins Club's Goal-of-the-Month Competition
A young Everton fan with cerebral palsy has beaten off competition from Aaron Lennon, Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas to win the club's goal-of-the-month competition for January.
Nine-year-old Evertonian George Shaw found the net at Goodison Park when he was invited on to the pitch at half-time of the Toffees' defeat to Swansea City on January 24.
That led to his goal being shortlisted for Everton's monthly competition, which he won with a staggering 86 percent of the fan vote.

"I never thought I would win. I thought I'd come close because of all the support I've had but I can't believe I won!" George told Everton's official website.
On Thursday, Shaw collected his trophy from manager Roberto Martinez at a pre-match press conference and even took questions from the press after posing for photographs.
To celebrate the achievement, George has been invited to the club's end-of-season awards evening in May.
